What is an Inverter?

Put simply, an inverter-driven air conditioner can change the speed of the compressor pumping hot or cold gases to your air conditioner.

Its speed depends on how much heating or cooling is required to satisfy the thermostat setting.

It runs, for the majority of the time, at a reduced speed, providing a more consistent room temperature, lower running noise, and most importantly, up to a 30% reduction in running costs.

What sort of warranty comes with the system?

A standard residential system usually comes with a 5-year parts and labor warranty, while a commercial system typically has a 2-year parts and labour warranty. The exact application will need to be assessed before we can provide accurate warranty terms and conditions.

What brands of air conditioners do you sell and recommend?

We sell and recommend Fujitsu and Daikin because they have an excellent track record of high-quality, reliable systems. They are also at the cutting edge of technology, constantly releasing new and innovative systems that are more efficient and reliable.

How long does it take from approving the quote to installation?

DPK aims to provide a seamless process and will endeavour to complete your job as soon as possible after the acceptance of the quote.

How much does a Split System cost?

The most common size, being a 2.5 hp (7.0 kW), which would heat or cool an average 50 sqm living room, is approximately $2600.00 installed. A bedroom-sized system, being 1.0 hp (2.6 kW), is approximately $1800.00. Prices vary depending on the manufacturer and installation type.

How much does a Ducted Air Conditioning system cost approximately?

Single storey house: $7700.00 complete
Two storey house, top floor only: $6500.00
Two storey house, complete: $9500.00

Worked well with our builders to get everything in on time with minimum fuss. Would highly recommend for both design and installation.

They were even better when we had a fault post installation when the whole DPK team went above and beyond to both find the fault (which turned out to be a manufacturers fault) and repair it including all of the associated replastering. Took several visits and much frustration for the team but they were always very pleasant, helpful and knowledgeable and determined to give us as the customer a good outcome and it was all done under warranty. Can’t speak highly enough of their service and the way the system has worked over a couple of summers and winters. Would highly recommend for their workmanship and customer focus
